ECT not only provides a highly effective cancer treatment without any of the side effects feared by patients, it is also remarkably quick to produce results. ECT regularly reduces the size of the tumour being treated by fifty percent in the first treatment. This first treatment triggers the destruction of the tumour, which can then be eliminated with several further treatments.
